Knightsbridge Residence

Knightsbridge, London
Independent design study · Concept study — not built

Knightsbridge Residence is a residential study in a classical London house, where the existing architecture is kept intact and given room to read.

Deep cornicing, panelled walls, tall sash windows and herringbone parquet carry the character of the rooms. Against them the intervention is deliberately contemporary — a book-matched marble island, soft sculptural seating and low dark timber pieces.

A restrained palette of marble, pale plaster, stone and olive velvet runs from the entrance hall through the kitchen, dining room and living room.
