South of France Residence

South of France
Independent design study · Concept study — not built

South of France Residence is a residential study in a warmer, southern register — limestone, plaster and sunlight doing most of the work.

Expressive stone is used where it can be seen properly: a travertine dining table, a carved stone basin, an island cut from a single block. Aged metals, linen and oxblood accents warm the pale ground.

The palette holds across the living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and bedrooms, so the house reads as one interior rather than a set of rooms.
